The Mission:

The CEA believes every person in Kansas should have a viable community of faith as expressed in the New Testament. The CEA is committed to starting and strengthening congregations  through the State of Kansas that can meet the needs of individual communities and be self-supporting within a reasonable time frame.

History:

Since the 1950’s, the CEA has help start over 40 churches in the state of Kansas! Westside Christian Church in Wichita, KS recognized the need to start new Christian churches in its surrounding area in the early 50’s. Six new churches were then started between 1954 and 1962 with the intent of reproducing the church as it was originally established. This movement soon transformed itself in to the CEA in 1965.

Establish New Churches:

The CEA’s Site selection and Church Planter Committees identify and evaluate locations in Kansas that would benefit from a Christian church as well as individuals to plant and establish these new churches. The CEA then provides start-up funds, a Management Team, and a salary for three years for the starting pastor.
